The West Coast is inseparable from the multi-platinum single and the rapper’s lexicon as well, so the poster also features an undulating Los Angeles skyline, distant mountains, palm trees and a desert, all enshrined in clouds of golden dust and crackling tendrils of rhythmic flame with an earthy, sun-baked palette reminiscent of the 90’s aesthetic. My goal was to portray the icon as larger-than-life, decorating him with visuals from both accompanying music videos.
